La Bullerie in St-Joseph-du-Lac, just outside of St. Eustache, is a truly amazing wedding venue and one that I believe suits my style of photography perfectly. It has that relaxed, informal vibe yet remains absolutely stylish and beautiful. It also has a huge amount of potential for wedding photographers. The building and the grounds make for a perfect backdrop for wedding photos!

La Bullerie Wedding Venue

La Bullerie is a unique wedding and event venue renowned for its scenic beauty and rustic elegance. Formerly La Roche Des Brises, the estate located in St-Joseph-du-Lac was transformed in 2017 to become La Bullerie. This unique wedding venue is perfect for lovers of good wine, good food and a staff that will really make sure your wedding runs perfectly.

One review said, “I went there for a friend’s wedding. La Bullerie offered a great venue (white tents outside, cocktails on a large patio) that fits 150 people. They had an outdoor wood oven where pita bread and pizza were served. And of course, the bulles were good too.”

If you’re planning a wedding at La Bullerie or anywhere in Quebec, I’d love to hear from you, so please get in touch for a chat.

La Bullerie is not your typical wedding venue; it’s a place where style meets simplicity in the most beautiful way. It’s got this relaxed, informal vibe that instantly makes you feel at ease, yet every corner is brimming with elegance and charm. It’s like walking into a world where time slows down and all that matters is the here and now.

For a photographer like me, who loves capturing genuine, unscripted moments, La Bullerie is a dream come true. The building, with its understated yet sophisticated architecture, creates an intimate setting that’s just perfect for those heartfelt moments. And the grounds – oh, the grounds! They’re like a canvas waiting to be painted with stories of love and laughter. Whether it’s the gentle sway of the trees or the way the sunlight dapples through the leaves, every element works together to create a magical backdrop for photos.

What I really appreciate about La Bullerie is how it aligns with my style of photography. I always aim to capture the essence of the moment in its most natural, unfiltered form. This venue, with its blend of casual elegance, sets the perfect stage for capturing authentic emotions and spontaneous interactions.

If you’re planning your special day and looking for a venue that’s both stylish and laid-back, I can’t recommend La Bullerie enough. It’s a place where your wedding photos will not just be pictures but stories captured in time – stories of joy, love, and everything in between.

Steve Gerrard – Wedding Portfolio from Steve Gerrard on Vimeo.

I’m a Brit living in Montreal with my wife, Evelyne and our three boys! Evelyne and I met in the Alps in 2003 when Evelyne thought she was a cool snowboarder and I thought I was a superstar DJ. We got married in 2007 in Cornwall, England and moved to Canada in 2014.

I photographed my first wedding in 2006 and have now shot almost 500 weddings, mostly in Canada & the UK, but I absolutely love travelling anywhere in the world. I enjoyed it when I started but love my job now more than ever.
