Hi, I’m Steve & I’m an award-winning Montreal wedding photographer.
I do things a bit differently.
My wedding photography style is creative, modern, authentic and cheese-free!
My goal is for you to have a great time while I capture all the special moments of your big day. When all your loved ones come together in one place to celebrate your love, I want to make sure every moment is captured perfectly. I mostly focus on documentary photography.
Story-telling but with a creative eye.
Creating portraits that will look amazing on your wall is something I absolutely love doing! I always make sure to take the time to find the best locations and perfect lighting and capture genuine, unposed moments.
I love working with couples who want to break away from tradition and do things their own way. That’s what makes weddings so special.
But most importantly, I truly care about every couple and every wedding. I’ll make sure that the focus is always on what truly matters to you.
As a wedding photographer, I love photographing weddings in the city, and the countryside surrounding Ottawa and Gatineau means we are spoiled for choice with amazing photography locations for those that love the variety & natural beauty of the Canadian landscape.
I’ve photographed weddings in Ottawa at venues like Stonefields Estate (one of my faves), popular ones like Le Belvédère, with its stunning views & rustic venues like the wonderful Adelina Barn. I love to capture the story of an LBGTQ wedding. I’ve also photographed Jewish, Italian & Asian weddings. And it’s always a blast.

These include the stunning Strathmere, The Arc, which gets booked up for events super-fast, Stanley’s Olde Maple Lane Farm, and another venue I love photographing at (partly cos the staff are so lovely), Bean Town Ranch, right on the outskirts of Ottawa.

After the wedding and all the fun is over, you’re left with your memories and your photos. My husband and I still say that Steve was by far the best money we spent on our wedding. He captured the best photos in such a great way. We really enjoyed having him at our wedding – top marks for a top man!

As the nation’s capital, Ottawa is a beautiful city with a rich history. With all these amazing venues to choose from, you’re pretty much guaranteed to find the ideal location to celebrate with all your favourite people.
Maybe you have your photos with Parliament buildings as your backdrop. Perhaps you’ll head close to the Rideau Canal for your family photos.
Of course, you do have plenty of great vendors in the area to help your day run smoothly, from florists, makeup artists and caterers to videographers and those all-important photographers! If you need help finding a wedding vendor that’s right for you, feel free to drop me an email.
Some of my favourite places to take photos in the city include ByWard Market, Gatineau Park and Parliament Hill, but there’s also Nepean Point and Chateau Laurier. But I also like to get off the beaten track and explore the urban backstreets or more natural locations outside the city centre.
Of course, a lot of venues in the Ottawa/Gatineau area are so great that you won’t need to go anywhere else to get fantastic photos. Most of the venues I’ve shot ceremonies at also lend themselves to a real variety of amazing wedding photography.
