Jumping on a plane to seal the deal?
I’ve shot weddings in Italy, Iceland, Thailand, Mexico, Croatia, Spain, the US and South Africa and I love to travel.
Obviously, there are lots of factors at play, but personally, if I’m available I jump at the chance to photograph weddings in locations around the world. Why wouldn’t I want to travel to amazing destinations and shoot weddings in exciting new locations? I love travelling anyway and relish the opportunity to visit any destination, but especially those I haven’t been to before.
I’ve recently been to Iceland to photograph an incredible wedding just outside Reykjavik, I nipped down to Las Vegas for a very cool chapel wedding (complete with “Elvis”) and took an epic trip to South Africa for a wedding amongst the stunning wine country near Cape Town. I’ve also shot weddings in Thailand, Italy, Croatia and Mexico. I’ve also photographed hundreds of weddings back in the UK.
Choosing to have a destination wedding can be a brave call to make for most couples, but I can assure you as a wedding photographer who has photographed weddings all over the world, it’s a decision that always pays off!
Seeing your guests arrive, with vacation mode enabled, and allowing everyone to introduce themselves to each other the day before the wedding, has an enormous impact on the atmosphere of the day itself. And it goes without saying, a post-wedding BBQ can be a pretty crazy affair too!
If you’re getting married away from home and you want to take a photographer you trust rather than risk hiring a local all you have to do is get in touch to start the conversation.

Steve was so wonderful on our wedding day, he felt like a guest, completely unobtrusive and we still got THE most amazing photos. Everybody has said what great photos he took. I never thought I could feel so at ease with having my photo taken.
