Montreal Photographers Instagram

As a wedding, portrait and music photographer in Montreal, I’m always keen to see what other photographers are doing in my area and I use Instagram every day to do that. I do follow a few of my favourite Montreal wedding photographers on Instagram but mostly I’m interested in other kinds of photography.

One of the beauties of Instagram these days is that it allows you to not only explore amazing photography but also to get a glimpse of the people behind the camera through Instagram Stories. As a photographer myself, Instagram Stories is a great way to put a personal face to my brand of photography. People might find me first through my photos but can then see what I’m up to on a daily basis, whether that’s out on a shoot, at some cool wedding, photographing concerts or just hanging out with my kids somewhere. It helps build the connection faster. My followers can get to know me, for better or worse, and I really enjoy having that extra outlet.

I may only have a few thousand followers on Instagram but that’s ok with me. I’m no Kylie Jenner, although I did photograph her birthday party! I actually have a lot more followers on Twitter but not many people seem to be using Twitter these days.

Montreal is a great city of photography and photographers. And there is an amazing amount of variety out there. Here are just a few of the photographers in Montreal that I follow on Instagram. Let me know if you think I’ve missed anyone that I should be following.
