Gomez @ Birmingham HMV Institute

I’m a big fan of Gomez.

I think they’re one of the most underrated bands in the country. Every time I’ve seen them, from festivals to small clubs to opening for the mighty Pearl Jam, they’ve alway been superb.

Last night they played at the HMV Institute, just 5 minutes walk from our studio in Birmingham, and I was lucky enough to be the only photographer shooting the gig.

I took Evelyne along as she’s also a converted Gomez fan. There will be a review on the Birmingham Live site but I thought they were great. Here are a few photos from the gig…
