Sarah & Bryn – MARRIED!

Sarah & Bryn have been great friends of ours for a long long time. Sarah was my housemate in the early 90s and they were guests at our wedding in 2007. So when they invited us to their own wedding early last year I knew I wasn’t going to be able to go without a camera or, worse yet, let them book a photographer who might not do them justice on the big day! So I was more than happy to offer to shoot the wedding for them. It’s one of the many benefits of doing the job I do and Sarah & Bryn were more than happy to take me up on the offer 🙂

They were married at the gorgeous Hazelwood House in Devon just before Christmas. The wedding had a similar feel to ours actually, being a very laid-back day with friends & family in an intimate venue in the South West of England. Coincidentally, Sarah’s bridesmaid, Sam and Bryn’s best man, Adam, were married at the same place as we were, Polhawn Fort in Cornwall.

So, without further ado, here are a just a few of my favourite photos from the day…

Here’s me with the bride (taken by Sam). I love this photo! 🙂

And introducing the groom and best man…

And the lovely Sam…

Awww… Sarah, you look fantastic!

The guests make their way to the chapel..

Bryn sees his bride for the first time…

MARRIED!!!

Each table was named after a classic album. Pearl Jam’s “Ten” is one of my fave albums ever!!!

“Cheers!”

Later in the evening we could relax and have fun with everyone. We’re going to be doing more of this at our weddings this year. Watch this space for more info… 😉

The morning after I grabbed a shot of Bryn & Sarah before they left the venue.

This was one of my favourite weddings for so many reasons but mainly because Sarah & Bryn are such a great couple. Thanks guys for trusting me to do my thing on your big day. Let’s get your album designed soon. It’s going to be amazing!! Evelyne and I wish you both all the best for the future. Much love xx

  2. Steve, what can we say, it was an hounour and a privilege to have someone we love and respect so much to do this for us and be such a huge part of our day.
