Recently, local band Blakfish were touring Europe opening for Biffy Clyro when their frontman decided he’d had enough and left the band mid-tour. That was the end of the tour for everyone. And the end of Blakfish.
The remaining menbers took no time though in writing new material and launching a brand new band, namely &U&I.
Rock Sound magazine posted on their Twitter page “The new &U&I (ex-Blakfish) EP is awesome. Kinda like a more psychopathic Million Dead.”
On Monday I met up with the band for a portrait shoot on the streets of Birmingham and, I have to say, I’m pretty chuffed with the results. Hopefully I’ll get to shoot them live soon…
