Windsor Montreal Wedding
As a Montreal wedding photographer I get to shoot at all kinds of amazing venues and Windsor Ballrooms is certainly one with a little wow factor.
Miriam + Daniel’s wedding at The Windsor in Montreal was an elegant affair filled with plenty of emotion and a whole lot of fun. Photographic evidence to follow.
The day itself began photographing everyone getting ready at the family home. Then it was into a limo and on to the first look.
We then took some time out in Westmount Park for a few portraits before heading over to the Windsor for the main event. The Windsor Ballrooms are extremely impressive and make for a stunning location for a wedding reception. This was a large Jewish wedding and the connection between the couple and their family was easy for all to see. There were tears, laughter and plenty of emotion all day long. As a wedding photographer, we love to capture these moments for the couple and their family. They are the kind of photos that become more and more important over time. I don’t take the job of documenting it lightly. I’m always aware of how significant wedding photos will be, and not just to the bride & groom.
The party was an absolute stormer! Jewish weddings always are. But I have to say that one of my favourite memories of this wedding was when the couple had McDonald’s takeaway delivered to the Windsor for all their guests. How cool is that?! It went down treat.
I shot this one with my pal Marlon Kuhnreich. He’s one of the good guys.
