OH! MY! GOD!
They are absolutely incredible, we have cried and also banged our hands on the table laughing!
You are a real master of your craft, we are just so bloody pleased we booked you.
This wedding at the G Hotel in Galway, Ireland was a first for me. Even though I’ve been shooting weddings since 2007, this was my first time shooting a wedding in Ireland. And for a first Irish wedding, this was a pretty amazing way to start.
I got to drive across the stunning Irish countryside and hang out with two of the loveliest people you can imagine, surrounded by their friends and family who were all absolutely up for having the best day.
The ceremony at Galway Cathedral was beautiful and emotional, with family members helping to officiate the marriage. From there, it was a fun walk with all their guests through the centre of Galway, even stopping for a quick Guinness along the way.
We headed to the coastline for some portraits of the couple before heading back to the very cool G Hotel for the reception where we were all entertained by Irish musicians, hilarious speeches, more Guinness and plenty of dancefloor action.
This wedding was a joy to shoot from beginning to end and I can’t thank Kate & David enough for bringing me over to the Emerald Isle to capture it all for them.

About Steve
Originally from Chester, I live with my wife, Evelyne and our three boys! Evelyne and I met in the Alps in 2003 when Evelyne thought she was a cool snowboarder and I thought I was a superstar DJ. We got married in 2007 in Cornwall, England and moved to Canada in 2014.
I photographed my first wedding in 2006 and have now shot almost 500 weddings, mostly in Canada & the UK, but I absolutely love travelling anywhere in the world. I enjoyed it when I started but love my job now more than ever.
