chateau vaudreuil wedding
Wedding Pictures at Chateau Vaudreuil near Montreal are always gonna be great due to the stunning venue, located right on the water. The fact that it’s 15 minutes from our home is a big added bonus!
Anne & Joe actually booked us just a few weeks before the wedding after being let down by another wedding photographer. That photographer’s loss was my gain and I had a fantastic day shooting a beautiful, emotional and fun wedding with these two lovely people.
The day itself began with them both getting ready with family and friends before heading to Virgin Mary Coptic Orthodox Church in Longueuil, an impressive building with truly amazing decoration.
From the church, we headed to Old Montreal for photos but spent more time in Montreal traffic than we did in the old town! We still managed to get some great photos of Anne & Joe, but soon after we were back on the road heading off island to Chateau Vaudreuil.
Now, I usually take around eight to ten group shots with family on a wedding day. Sometimes more, sometimes less, but I prefer to document the wedding itself in a more relaxed and creative way rather than spending too long photographing groups. This wedding broke my record for group shots though. I lost count! Obviously, it’s up to my couples how they spend that time and everyone was happy.
The speeches were so good. Emotional, funny and brilliantly delivered. And the evening party was great fun, with some dance lessons thrown in to get everyone in the mood.
Anne & Joe were so easy going and lovely. I truly enjoyed being there to document the day for them. Huge congrats to them on a fantastic wedding day.

Thanks to Jaimy Kertland for shooting this one with me. It was great having him along….
